What is Walk for Water?

Walk for Water is a fundraiser walk on Saturday 16th February at 8am, from Flagstaff Hill to Stuart Park. The walk aims to raise much-needed funds for Anglican Aid’s WaterWorks initiative (which enables those in impoverished and developing nations to get clean and reliable water supplies and sanitation facilities).

How can I get involved?

There are two ways…

1. From Sunday 3 Feb, decide to drink only water for a week or fortnight. Go without drinking your favourite beverages such as coffee, orange juice, beer or wine, and donate the money you would normally spend to Anglican Aid’s WaterWorks program.

2. Join us at the ‘Walk for Water’ on Saturday 16 Feb! Meet at Flagstaff Hill at 8am for the walk, or Stuart Park at 8:30am for breakfast (bircher museli and bacon and egg rolls will be on sale – all proceeds to WaterWorks).

For more info, please speak see Megan Engel (5pm church) or a member of our pastoral staff.
