What’s your big question for God?

July 16, 2026

Hello to the good folk of Wollongong and Corrimal!

If you could sit down and have a conversation with God, what would you ask him? It’s part of our human nature to wonder or question the way things are in our world, and why we exist. Perhaps you’d ask something along these lines…

  • Why is there so much pain and suffering?
  • What happens to us after we die?
  • Are you real? And why don’t you show yourself to us?
  • What’s the meaning of life?
  • What is my purpose?
  • Why don’t you answer my prayers?

Whatever your question, we’d love to hear it!

This August, we’re running a four-week Bible talk series exploring the “Big Questions” people in our community are actually asking. But before we begin, we want to hear from you.

No question is too simple, too difficult, or off-limits. Whether you’re curious, skeptical, uncertain, or searching for hope, we’d love for you to submit your question through our short survey. The most common questions will shape our upcoming series and be explored each Sunday in an open and thoughtful way.

We’ll share the 4 most commonly asked questions in late July via our social media accounts (follow us to stay in touch!). The ‘Big Questions’ Bible talks will be shared at each of our 6 church services on Sundays 9, 16, 23, and 30 August. We’d love to see you there!

At St Michael’s Anglican we are one church family with 6 congregations across two sites!
Our vision is to see more disciples of Jesus shining as lights in our city.
