ChurchSuite FAQ

MyChurchSuite

MyChurchSuite is for members to interact with functions of church – the directory where you can contact others, your roster, also event invites, and it will also log all the emails sent to you (no more searching in your inbox).

Who can see my information?

Staff and relevant ministry leaders have appropriate access. Other users will only see your name and any contact details you choose to share (e.g. email or phone) within shared contexts like Growth Groups or serving teams. You have full control over visibility settings.

Can I update my information?

Absolutely. You can log in at any time to update your contact info, set your availability, change serving preferences, or adjust your privacy settings. It helps us stay accurate and support you better.

What if I don’t have an email address or share one with someone else?

An email is required to use MyChurchSuite. If you share an email (e.g. within a family), each person can still have a unique login link and password – the invite email is personalised so each member can create a password and login.

For those without an email, we will continue to provide print copies of relevant information as is our current practice.

For some, there may be no need to log in. However, we’d request you let us know whether you’re happy to be listed in the Church Directory and what information you’d like (address, phone number, etc.) so others can contact you.

Is ChurchSuite replacing all other communication methods?

No—this is an additional support tool and will function much the same as Elvanto does for communication (but better!). We’ll still have office hours, weekly notices, social media updates, and email reminders. ChurchSuite is here to help engagement, not to exclude anyone.

How is ChurchSuite different from Elvanto?

ChurchSuite is more intuitive, mobile-friendly, and comprehensive—integrating events, groups, serving, giving, and more into one platform. It also has some great features to help administration of St Michael’s, making booking of ministries, events, band practices, growth groups much easier and avoiding double booking. It’s got a great calendar and event function – helping us to better advertise our programs with our community. While Elvanto held our database and had some of these features, many were clunky and not functioning well.

When will I get access?

We’ll launch on 27 August, starting with staff and ministry leaders as early adopters, followed by the wider congregation. You’ll receive a personalized email invitation—if you don’t, please contact us! We’ll have a follow-up on Sunday 31 August to assist those who may need it. Services (rosters and plans) will move to ChurchSuite for term 4.

How do I set up my account for the first time?

When you receive the email invitation, click the link to create your password. You can then access MyChurchSuite via your web browser or mobile app. If you need help, our support page and videos are available at churchsuite.com/support, or ask a staff member.

At St Michael’s Anglican we are one church family with 6 congregations across two sites!
Our vision is to see more disciples of Jesus shining as lights in our city.
