English Classes

A group meets at the St Michael’s Church Hall on Tuesdays, during school term time, to learn and practise conversational English in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. This has proved a great help for new Australian residents and international students.

These classes are FREE and available for different levels of ability and experience in speaking English:

Beginner to advanced

  • Tuesdays from 10am – 12pm (re-starting Tues 10th February 2026)

Summer Conversation Classes

If you can’t make our formal daytime classes, come along to our conversation classes on Tuesdays at 6pm. These classes run from December to March, taking a short break from December 16, and resuming 13 January.
